Very likely the best cabins I’ve seen from 5 retreat centres that our church has used in the past.

Cliff – always accessible, calming influence, showed a lot of grace and patience all the way through (thanks Cliff) Geoff – accessible, patient, good all around guy (thanks Geoff) Cook – great food, even prepared a vegetarian dish despite my mistake in clarifying the dietary needs of one of the youth all activity leaders – nice and patient with everybody

Cliff, was an excellent facilitator: very cooperative, helpful and pleasant. We certainly appreciate you. Geoff and Tom, with whom we had direct contact, were very helpful and willing to take care of all our requests. They went the second mile. They made us feel we were important and they wanted us to be happy. All staff were very good and made us feel welcome.

Jeff and Corinna who took care of us over the weekend were awesome. They were always there to help when needed and took time to answer all our questions with patience. They made the weekend run smoothly. All the staff looked like they were having fun too! They took the extra effort to make sure we were enjoying our time.

Food was delicious, everyone was full and happy. We had a great eating contest too!

Amazingly warm and maintained for winter visits

Geoff and Cliff both were willing to go above and beyond on many things; the kitchen staff took a request for a “Hawaiian” dinner and went the extra mile (including the best dessert I’ve ever tasted)

Our teens rave about the food, especially the Sunday brunch that was prepared for us.

I was very impressed with the guest services staff overall – they were very attentive to our needs and made sure our stay was a positive one. Jeff (our host) did an exceptional job.

I was impressed that included in the fee was 6 hours of instruction for our group. That is a huge chunk of time to commit to our kids and I appreciated that. (we didn’t use it all, but I really appreciated the offer)

All of the staff worked really hard for us – even little extras like popcorn for our movie, extra time on the high ropes, etc.

Honestly, I was extremely impressed with every element of our weekend and will most likely book our next retreat at Mini-Yo-We. THANK YOU for making it such a positive experience.

We had Geoff lead us for the day and the kids thought he was cool. Cliff joined us at ropes and did an awesome job of teaching them how to participate and encourage. The enjoyed both leaders a lot. I really appreciated Cliff’s debriefing with the kids after the minefield course.

Mini-Yo-We is a great place and worked with me on providing a fun and affordable quality field trip for my students.
